What is history ?
The word history is derived from the Greek word" historia" which means research, inquiry or investigation so that way the knowledge acquired by investigation is known as history .
Definition :
* History is the study of past events. People know what happened in the past by looking at the things from the past including sources [like books , newspaper, script , letter , biographies] building and artifacts like[ pottery, tools, coins, and human , animals remains] .
* History is the study of past events set in a chronological order . Also history is the discovery , collection , organization , and presentation of information about past events.
* History is the study of human past . It is a field of research which uses a narrative to examined and analyze the sequence of events and it often attempt to investigate objectively the pattern of cause and effect that determine the events.
*The branch of knowledge that record and analyses the past events . History has a long range perspective .
* History is the study of past . We study history that is about past life of people. We came to know about the reigns of various kings how they rule , their failure , theirs achievement and their conquest . It also give idea about state of art, literature, culture and civilization.
